केरल में निपाह वायरस का ख़तरा दिख रहा है. राज्य में इस ख़तरनाक वायरस से अब तक दो लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है. चार संदिग्ध मरीज़ों पर नज़र रखी जा रही है. इनके सैम्पल जांच के लिए भेजे गए हैं. मौजूदा हालात के मद्देनज़र केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय की टीम केरल पहुंची है. ग्राउंड लेवल पर बीमारी का सामना कैसे करना है, केंद्रीय टीम इसे लेकर केरल सरकार को सुझाव देगी. स्वास्थ्य मंत्री मनसुख मांडविया ने बताया है कि गाइडलाइन तय की गई हैं क्योंकि इसकी कोई विशेष दवा नहीं है. जो संदिग्ध मौतें थीं उनकी पुष्टि हो गई. पहले आपको समझाते हैं आखिर क्या है निपाह वायरस और ये कैसे फैलता है? निपाह वायरस चमगादड़ की लार से फैलता है. इंसानों में ये संक्रमण चमगादड़ का खाया फल खाने से फैलता है. इंसान से इंसान में भी इसका संक्रमण होता है. संक्रमित सदस्य से परिवार के दूसरे सदस्यों में फैल सकता है. निपाह वायरस के लक्षण दो से तीन दिन में दिखने लगते हैं. इसके शुरुआती लक्षणों में बुख़ार और सरदर्द शामिल है.
