Kolkata doctor rape & murder case: Father of victim recalls last conversation with his daughter
On August 16, the father of the deceased doctor from RG Kar Medical College and Hospital publicly addressed the media for the first time. He shared that his daughter had left for her duty around 8:10 AM and last communicated with her mother at 11:15 PM. Despite her being on duty, no one needed her from 3 AM to 10 AM, and by then, she had already passed away. Expressing his grief and frustration, he highlighted that the entire medical department was under suspicion and emphasized that the protesting crowds are like his own children. He conveyed gratitude for their support and confirmed having spoken with CBI officials, though he refrained from further details due to the ongoing investigation.
