Parasitic infection (Neurocysticercosis) या दिमाग में कीड़ा होना, कितना खतरनाक और क्या है इसका इलाज?
Neurocysticercosis (NCC) is a neurologic infection caused by the larval stage of the tapeworm Taenia solium. In the developing world, NCC, infection of the central nervous system (CNS) with the T. solium larvae, is the most common cause of acquired epilepsy.

दिमाग में कीड़ों की वजह से, अक्सर सेंट्रल नर्व के जरिए न्यूरोसिस्टीसरकोसिस, कंकाल की मांसपेशियों, आंखों और त्वचा प्रभावित होने लगते हैं. वर्ल्ड हेल्थ ऑर्गैनाइजेशन (WHO) ने केंद्रीय नर्वस सिस्टम में टेपवर्म इन्फेक्शन के होने को मिर्गी की सबसे बड़ी वजह बताया है.
