This is the eighth video of our 11 nights 12 days Kolkata to Kashmir Tour. In this video we started from Srinagar towards Pahalgam. We first visited Shankaracharya temple at Srinagar. Then we reached Pahalgam by road. On our way we stopped at Pampore at a Keshar stall. There we came to know how to identify original kesar. We stayed at Hotel Betab Palace at Pahalgam. Its an ordinary hotel.

In the previous video we travelled to Gulmarg Kashmir in the month of May. We did not have online Gondola ticket. But we purchased offline tickets from at Gondola counter. We spent one hour at first phase of Gulmarg Gondola. After coming back to Srinagar we visited Young Hollywood house boat at Dal Lake.

In the previous episode we travelled to Sonamarg Kashmir in the month of April end. There are two tourist places of attraction at Sonamarg. One is Thajiwas glacier and another is Zero point. Thajiwas glacier is nearly 5 km from Sonamar taxi stand. You can either walk or take a pony to reach there. Usually pony charges for Thajiwas glacier is 1000 rupees per head. There are guaranted snow at Thajiwas glacier all through the year. Sonamarg to Zero point is nearly 25 km by road towards Ladakh. Its after the Baltal and Zozila pass.
