The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, carrying 230 passengers and 12 crew members, crashed shortly after takeoff on June 12, 2025, while en route to London Gatwick. Authorities confirmed that the aircraft issued a 'MAYDAY' call before losing contact with Air Traffic Control. The crash site is located just outside the airport perimeter.

Fire tenders, emergency personnel, and DGCA officials are present at the scene. All flight operations at Ahmedabad airport have been suspended until further notice.
