Kolkata Doctor Rape And Murder Case | Calcutta HC Orders CBI Probe Into Trainee Doctor's Murder

Kolkata Doctor Case Latest Update: Amid unrest throughout the country over the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College, the Calcutta High Court on August 13 ordered to handover the case ‘immediately’ to the CBI. "We are very happy. We had prayed to the court that there should be a CBI investigation and it should be monitored by the court. The court has handed over the investigation to the CBI, and the court will monitor it... To instill confidence in the minds of the public at large as well as the family of the victim, the investigation has been handed over to the CBI," said Advocate Koustav Bagchi.
