Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder Case: Suspect Arrested in Murder of Woman Doctor As Protests Erupt N18V

Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the sexual assault and murder of a woman postgraduate trainee doctor at the state-run Kar Medical College and Hospital. Protests erupted in the college, across the state and eventually the country after the incident. The IMA has given authorities 48 hours to respond and has threatened to protest in case of no action.
