Mystery Fever in UP is causing so many deaths in children and adults. This mystery Fever is due to a bacteria called Orientia Tsutsugumashi. It causes the disease called Scrub Typhus or bush Typhus. If not treated properly it cases kidney and liver failure and ultimately death of the patient. Scrub Typhus can be treated by Doxycycline if given early in the course of illness. Other fever like Dengue, Malaria and Typhoid are also common these days and making so many people sick.
