Pahalgam Terror Attack: Tourists Injured in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir Shooting
A suspected terror attack in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley, Anantnag district, left several tourists injured on April 22, 2025. Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a trekking group, with reports of one fatality and at least seven wounded, including a tourist shot in the head. Security forces rushed to the scene, launching an operation in the remote meadows, accessible only by foot or horseback.
