Scrub Typhus is a disease caused by an infection with the Rickettsia bacteria. Mites carry these deadly bacteria and can transmit it to you when they bite or lick your skin. If you experience symptoms like appearance of red painful lesions on your skin, swollen lymph nodes, tiredness and skin rash for quite some time, get your blood test done.
