In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Col Shivender Pratap Singh Kanwar in conversation with Raj Shamani. He has been a part of the Special Forces, he is a counter-terrorist expert and the only officer to undergo three Special Forces Probations.
In this episode, we talked about how the Indian military is different from the American military in terms of weapons, his favorite weapons, and which are the best three special forces in the world according to him. He then shared the types of weapons our military uses and also shared the intense selection process of special forces. He shared the intense challenges they have to face in the 90 days of probation and how they are tested mentally and physically while surviving on 2-3 hours of sleep.
Towards the end, he shared stories from his Special Forces days, how once he was shot 30 gunshots, and how he was saved. Then we talked about why it is said that local people support militants and the dangerous missions they have survived. He also shared inside stories of the Indian military and special forces. According to YouTube, a government entity has filed complaints about these channels. While the exact identity of this entity remains unclear, it could be SEBI, RBI, or even the Finance Ministry.

Understanding SEBI’s Regulatory Framework: SEBI's Research Analyst (RA) Regulations, 2014, specifically govern who can offer stock recommendations and advice. According to these regulations, any individual or entity providing financial recommendations or price movement predictions requires proper registration with SEBI.
Unregistered entities offering tips directly violate these RA regulations, which aim to protect retail investors from misguidance. The lack of action on channels blatantly violating these regulations raises questions about enforcement consistency.
What Should Finfluencers Do? Finfluencers affected by these mass blocks can reach out to SEBI to understand specific issues and discuss potential solutions to ensure their content aligns with regulatory guidelines.
